TS-45F Tray
A 45 cell multipurpose tray offering flexibility in the nursery, in transportation and during planting. The TS-45F tray is the most versatile in our range and is ideally suited for softwood and hardwood seed and mini cuttings. The cell architecture is specially formed to ensure complete absence of root curl. When lifted the seedling rootball will exhibit excellent root form with groups of air pruned root tips positioned to engage the surrounding soil after planting. The square shaped cells of the tray have one horizontal air pruning slot on each wall surface to lessen the drying effect common with many earlier side slot cell trays. The internal construction of the cell is designed to encourage formative root growth to enter the air pruning slot positions’ to encourage well positioned lateral roots. The cell architecture and tray size was developed together with Hancock and Arborgen nurseries in Australia
The tray dimensions 385mm x 216mm x 85mm cell volume of 93cc plant density of 520 per m2.
The trays will last through repeated handlings up to 10 years.
Carry two trays or four trays at once on a planting belt | TS-48F Tray Designed to produces strong and sturdy conifer seedlings and Radiata pine cuttings Originally developed by Transplant Systems for Radiata pine cuttings, the TS-48F , is ideally suited for softwood cuttings and seed. The cell architecture of the TS-48F is the product of years of research and development with major forest nurseries and plantation growers throughout Australia and New Zealand.
When inspecting cuttings ready for planting it will be seen that the aggressive roots have been controlled in the cell thus avoiding the chance of root deformation. This leads to excellent field anchorage, early establishment and plant growth. The tray dimensions 385mm x 289mm x 100mm cell volume of 125cc plant density of 434 per m2. | TS-100F Tray
Higher profitability with optimum plant densities without a drop in quality. Our TS -100F tray was designed together with Gunns Pty Ltd targeting increased profitability without compromising seedling quality. The outcome of this partnership improved the tray design resulting in a superior tray for professional growers. This cell tray has been developed for raising hardwood seedlings, soft wood seedlings and small cuttings. It will allow 23 % more plants per square metre compared to earlier trays of 81 cells of common outer dimension.
Proven 3 years in plant production 2007/8/9 with plants at 648 plants per m2 resulted in considerable cost savings through the nursery , transportation and planting stages.
The tray dimensions 385mm x 385mm x 73mm cell volume of 73cc plant density of 684 per m2. |
